Our Lady of the Southern Cross represents a breakthrough in primary school design. The project was Master Planned as a new school development for this growing area of Melbourne. The design directly reflects a pedagogical approach of student-centered learning by providing a rich mixture of specialist areas with free-flowing and flexible learning spaces. Three cross-age P-6 learning communities can each be arranged in a variety of ways supported by technology.  They exhibit an abundance of natural light and direct connection to outdoor areas.
